I have expertise as an instructional designer and e-learning developer, working to analyze needs and instructional goals and then determine the best methods of design for instructor-led and e-learning, asynchronous programs. I am comfortable working directly with subject matter experts across multiple content areas. I have a thorough understanding of learning theories, course design, program evaluation, technology integration, and learning management systems.
Due to the proprietary nature of my position, the amount of portfolio pieces are limited. The pieces on this portfolio site have been heavily modified from their original content to remove sensitive information that is unable to be shared. What remains is the shell and basic concepts of my eLearning development skills.
I love instructional design and eLearning Development because one day I can be designing a web-based training for a new app and the next day I can create a course on publishing ebooks. No two days are the same in this role and that is one of my favorite things about my job!
There are limitless opportunities to create learning for others while having the opportunity to learn more about products myself.
Being flexible by nature, I thrive in environments where I must deal with unexpected requests, unanticipated problems, and changing priorities, and as we know that is a day in the life of an instructional designer.

I have had several opportunities to create online courses housed in various Learning Management Systems.
I create curriculum with agendas, lessons, job aids, and learning activities frequently. However, again, due to proprietary reasons, I cannot share the curriculum on this site.
My real-world experience, ability to apply it to any setting and my dedication to lifelong learning, background, and commitment to education allows for me to make a substantial contribution in any environment.
